About Sandi

Sandi McReynolds is a lifelong resident of Southwest Missouri.

She is married to Mac, a “retired” building contractor who still works most days volunteering his skills to help others… when he isn’t fishing, that is. She is Mom to three very gifted adults and MomMac to five extremely talented grandkids who have, in turn, blessed her with six—and counting—adorable great-grandkiddos. (She’ll gladly show you pictures…) Most of all, she’s a grateful follower of Jesus Christ and joyful Kingdom worker.

Sandi and Mac live near Joplin, MO, with “the Boys,” two little Shih Tzu/Jack Russell balls of fire named Spanky and Scooter, and a huge rescue mutt called Ditch Dog. They are active members of College Heights Christian Church, Joplin, where Sandi serves on the Women’s Ministry Board and leads Salt & Light, a ministry dedicated to informing and educating Christians about social and political issues affecting church and family. She helped found, and for many years served on the board of LifeChoices (now Choices Health Network). She will forever be a fervent advocate for that work and those who serve there, and the “LifeChoices Story” she authored for their twenty-year anniversary was truly a labor of love. She is a former Human Resources executive and small business owner.

In addition to books and articles, Sandi researches and authors scripts for “Great Americans Day,” an annual dramatization of America’s founders for fourth graders which she helped create and develop. She has written and edited copy for Jack E. Dawson’s “Seek and Find” paintings with a message.

Sandi’s passion for writing is rivaled only by her passion for gardening and garden design, proudly wearing the name Master Gardener until a family illness made it impossible to complete the volunteer hours required. It could be said that one of her favorite places is in the garden with her computer, seeking God’s voice for that day.
